You
probably think you know all the Russian out there. After all, every
one of them seems be named to name Olga or something else obviously Russian.
Well, you’d be right most of the time, but not all of them have such obvious
names. Here are the ten best Russian actresses, and all of them have Russian
blood in them somehow.
A Nickelodeon child star. Does
Nickelodeon have a thing for the Russians or what? Amanda Bynes tried to be
funny on “The Amanda Show,” but mostly she succeeded at looking stupid. She has
promise though, as long as she gives up comedy.
She’s definitely cute, but
even though she’s in her twenties, she looks about fifteen. Yes, that makes it
a little creepy. Plus, she was in the notoriously hideous movie, “High School
Musical.” That said, when she’s about 35, she’s going to be the sexiest cougar
the world has ever seen. Just wait and see.
I bet you thought she was
Canadian. Well, she is, but her mom is of Russian ancestry. She makes the list
for being able to become rich and famous for having the rare ability to run
down a beach.
Most girls can’t actually be
funny, but Sarah Silverman is. Also, if she decides to give up comedy, and just
go for looking good and getting paid, she could probably pull it off.
Another Russian actress that
got start on the Nickelodeon channel. She’s Alex from “The Secret World of Alex
Mack.” She was also in “10 Things I Hate About You.” She doesn’t get enough
credit, so here’s some recognition for her.
This girl has been famous her
entire life. She wasn’t born in Russia ,
but she can speak the language. You may remember her as Nona Mecklenberg from
“The Adventures of Pete & Pete.” Well, she grew up and got hot. The male
population likes that kind of thing.
She’s straight up Russian.
Mila Kunis can
even speak the language. Plus, she’s totally adorable, and “That 70’s Show” was
just fantastic, even if her character was somewhat annoying.
That’s right. Jake
Gyllenhaal’s sister is Russian too, which of course makes him Russian as well.
Maggie Gyllenhaal was in “Donnie Darko,” which is possibly the best movie ever,
and “The Dark Knight.” She’s an amazing actress, and we’ve only seen the
beginnings of her potential.
She’s gorgeous, she graduated
from Harvard, and she managed to look good in a suit on “The Office.” What
other woman has such unique qualities? If you were thinking, “No other woman.”
Then, you’d be right.
She was born in the Soviet Union, and her
mother is Russian, making her a good candidate alone. Now that the formalities
are out the way, she’s mainly at the top of the list because she always seems
to play that hot girl who could beat you up. There’s just something appealing
about that.
There you have it: the best Russian actresses. It got a little scrappy at the end there. Long-haired Michael Bolton almost fought his way into that number ten spot.
